Community Psychiatric Clinic Achieves Highest Three-Year Accreditation
Award Marks Second Consecutive Outcome

Community Psychiatric Clinic (CPC) received the highest level of accreditation possible, a Three-Year Accreditation, from The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF) for the following behavioral healthcare programs: Assessment and Referral, Outpatient Treatment, Case Management, Children and Adolescents Outpatient Treatment, Community-Based Rehabilitation, and Residential Treatment.

An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation outcome has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable. This achievement, marking the second consecutive Three-Year Accreditation for CPC, clearly demonstrates an established pattern of total quality operations that is highly likely to be maintained or improved in the foreseeable future.

CARF is an independent, not-for-profit national accrediting body promoting quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of persons served.

CPC, a non-profit, community-based behavioral healthcare organization, was established in 1952 and currently provides mental health and chemical dependency treatment to over 4,000 individuals annually. CPC owns, operates or manages multiple sites across Seattle and King County, including six outpatient treatment sites, three residential treatment facilities, one safe haven, one crisis respite facility, 21 cluster homes, and seven apartment complexes. CPC clinical staff also provide mental healthcare at numerous locations throughout the community.
