By supporting Community
Psychiatric Clinic, you can help make a better life for someone struggling
with mental illness and/or chemical dependency. Please consider the
following opportunities. If you have any questions, need additional
information, or would like to get involved, contact the development
office at 206-545-2345.
Serve on our Board
You can volunteer
in a special way by serving as a member of our Board of Trustees.
Are you interested in mental health and related issues such as chemical
dependency recovery, vocational programs and residential services?
CPC is seeking diverse individuals to serve on our board. We are especially
interested in potential members who have a background in law, academia,
government, fundraising or the faith community. Please contact our
CEO at 206-461-3614 for more information.
Annual Events
Each year, CPC
embarks on a campaign to provide greatly needed items such as socks,
gloves, warm clothing, back packs, and hygiene supplies for low-income
and homeless clients enrolled in services at CPC. These gifts are
individually wrapped and delivered to programs across the agency.
You can contribute cash or merchandise to support our Holiday Helpers
Project, help wrap holiday gifts, and/or "adopt" a deserving family
during the holiday season.
Financial Support
Your financial
support is always welcome and will be gratefully acknowledged. Please
consider a contribution to CPC. CPC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization,
and all donations are tax deductible. Your donation will help us work
against the stigma of mental illness and provide vital services for
low-income clients who have few resources. You may designate your
gift to a specific program or service provided by CPC, and remember
a loved one or acknowledge a special person with a memorial or tribute
gift. We are also eligible for matching gifts
through most employer matching gifts programs.
Please mail your contribution
by check, to:

We also gladly accept donations
such as merchandise, furniture, and grocery certificates, to help meet the non-clinical
needs of our clients. Donations of used items are accepted, but items
must be clean and in good working condition.
Call our development office
at 206-545-2345 with any questions about donations to CPC.
 Bequests
You can name CPC as a beneficiary in your will or living trust thereby
reducing estate taxes upon your death. Since we are a qualified non-profit
organization under the Internal Revenue Code, the value of your total
estate for tax purposes will be reduced by any amount you bequeath.
Be sure to list our correct legal name: Community Psychiatric Clinic,
Seattle, Washington. Also, your decision to make a bequest must be
written in your will or living trust to obtain the tax deduction.
