Cascade Hall Residential Facility


Cascade Hall is one of Community Psychiatric Clinic's 24-hour supervised residential treatment facilities and provides a safe, stable environment where chronically mentally ill adults can receive intensive staff support to achieve a reduction in symptoms and improved quality of life. Highly trained staff offer 24-hour supervision and opportunities for residents to develop independent living skills to help them work toward achieving more independent living situations.

Cascade Hall has 60 beds, and provides highly intensive services in a number of specialized programs. These include 35 beds of Long-Term Rehabilitation for persons with mental illness, a 15-bed specialized program for veterans, a 5-bed respite program for persons with co-occurring mental illness and developmental disabilities, and one hospital diversion bed reserved for use by the King County Crisis and Commitment Staff. The facility is located in the Northgate area of north Seattle.

Services provided at Cascade Hall include:

  • Case management and advocacy
  • Crisis intervention services
  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication assessment and management
  • All meals and nutrition management
  • Emergency medical services
  • Therapeutic levels of behavioral health care
  • Chemical dependency screening and treatment
  • Education on mental health, drugs and alcohol, including the conflicting effects of prescribed medications and illicit use of drugs/alcohol
  • Social skills and other treatment and recovery support groups
  • Recreation activities including local attractions, camping trips and holiday parties.
  • Prevocational and vocational services
  • Activities of daily living training
  • Family support services
  • Hospital diversion and respite care
