CPC selected as Wraparound service provider

CPC was recently selected by King County to provide intensive wraparound services to multiple-system involved families. These include families served by King County courts and probation, child welfare, foster care, chemical dependency providers and others. The wraparound team will work with all of these systems, along with the children’s school and other support systems.

Wraparound services will be provided by a special team within the Child and Family Services department. This team will work with representatives from each system a child/family is involved with, as well as their natural supports such as family, friends, church community and others, to develop a service plan designed to assist the child and family in regaining stability, improving mental health and/or chemical dependency outcomes, and re-entering the community. This approach has proven successful in assisting families with significant challenges in achieving and maintaining their recovery goals.

CPC has been assigned to serve an area that includes North Seattle, Capital Hill, downtown, Ballard, Magnolia and West Seattle, all in the Seattle School District.
